Our nation…a knight and horse…a book and a method…leadership and history….
It is common in history to talk about the beginning of great men…but for a nation to be born with the birth of a single man, that is an amazing issue that should be studied closely in order to realize how great the Islamic Nation is; that was born with the birth of their prophet Mohammed (p&m upon him).Studying our nation’s history is undoubtedly beneficial for following the sequence of its growth lacking any civilization elements, to becoming on top of the nations within almost a century. It went on as a leading nation for about ten centuties.
This might seem a too rosy introduction to mention that the Technology Team in Life Makers association wanted to study the journey of their Prophet and absorb as much as they could whatever might help them strengthen their vision in life and their upgrading aspirations, and realize what it means for a prophet to be a role model. It is the beginning of a success story that had started a year ago and shows how far we reached as a team in our belief of the importance of activating the intellectual dialogues among the members.
The team began discussing the life of Prophet Mohammed (p&m upon him) on face book since February 2011 and still going on.
These studies are very important for all of us. They help understanding the prophetic events , they are food for our souls with many humanitarian morals and show the significance of hard work, and how to choose the right personnel that would walk the way with us towards victory.
We asked the team about the benefits of studying the life of Prophet Mohammed (p&m upon him) and the answers came in different aspects… In the moral side, we learn to be loyal to those who are helpful and patient. In the practical side, we know that the right will show up even if a bit late, and the importance of media in circulating the information about Islam “adda’wa”, the high rank of Al Aqsa Mosque and how to make the right choice of inspiring leaders. In the intellectual side, they talked about the importance of meditation and reading into the history in addition to our Prophet’s life.
The team insists that this reading should never be just casual reading of events, in the aim of getting advice and preach, instead, it should analyzing and linking to our present time… we would in the end reach our aim in having hope, advice, preach, inspiration and good morals. In the end we would plan our way with good thinking and strategies to definitely reach our goals.
About the references, most of the team members talked about television programs, books and web sites… examples of which are: “The Sirah” by Dr. Ragheb al Serjani, “The Footsteps of our beloved Prophet” for Dr. Amr Khaled, and books by Al Bootti, Al Ibary, Mohammed Hasanein Haikal, Ibn Hisham and Karen Armstrong.
The Technology Team will continue having more activities in order to increase the bonding of its members and ease their interaction and exchange of experiences.
