Electronic Ramadan!
And a charity extends to the virtual world
Wishes and determination of the Technology Team

The speech has started with Ramadan; the month of thanks and gratitude to Allah, when we remember the loved ones and whose occupations of daily life take us away from them. And today we have especial talk with you about the team responsible for the electronic website, the face book, and the YouTube channel. The team which accompanied most of the teams during Ramadan activities, whether through photographing, writing news reports, or holding interviews with the remarkable persons in the association,  therefore this is a moment  to pause to thank them and remember some of their contributions in presenting the work of the other teams satisfactorily, as their main task is to guarantee the smoothness of teams’ work, and to entrench and facilitate the means of communication and contact between the members, moreover to ensure that the Makers’ achievements which people see correspond to the excellence on the ground.

The story of the Electronic Site:
The need of renewal was already existed when the team decided to develop the electronic site, and the intentions were strong to make the association site distinctive and contains updated areas of content unlike the old one, where the update was so limited and restricted. The team at that time consisted of five persons and the plan was to develop the site by new persons and members of the team. This was at the fourth or fifth month of the year 2010, and the target was to finish the update before Ramadan (September). Fortunately and due to the good relations, MISD Company has adopted the development of the website for free through our sister Rasha Saleh who helped as well in the direction of the current remarkable website’s design and flash. We received the website exactly the day before Ramadan. The wakefulness accompanied the team throughout the first and second week of Ramadan in order to complete the Data Entry of the website. Had it not been for the intensive collective work at that time, the work could have taken several and long periods of time.
 

Later the team members increased to seven. Consequently the work required great coordination between the geographically scattered members who made use of the electronic means of communication to communicate with each other. The work was enjoyable as much as the effort exerted under the follow up of Mais Malkawy,the team leader.
 

The literary face of the team was presented by Rema Abdullah through her interviews with the members of the association with the aim of shedding the light on the remarkable ones and to motivate the rest of them, further more to bring the members closer and more familiar with each other.
 

On the other hand Ahmed Ghaith the active member of team is responsible of the Life Makers association page on the face book with our mate Esraa’ Mahameed. Ahmed works in Kuwait and has recently come for a visit to Jordan and visited his old team; he was very pleased to see their great work and high spirit.

Media Coverage:
The teams of the association and their activities were the important content which will enrich the website and make it attract visitors and followers, besides it will spread joy among those who participated in the activities or events specially the most significant ones such as the Ramadan Campaign and the Orphan’s Activities. Once again the roles were divided and the team worked vigorously and silently to highlight the excellence of the other teams work. Both Mais Malkawy and Mais Tayeh took the working days of the girls, whereas Ramy Fares and Khalid El Mughrabi were responsible for the days of the men, thus covering the whole period of Ramadan, day by day including photographing and news broadcasting and even assistance, and by the help of Ramy Fares in uploading the videos on the YouTube, a new link was held to provide the website with special videos all the time.

Personal Development Activity:
No work is mastered without knowledge, and for that purpose the Technology Team decided to develop the skills of its members by holding a separate activity which provided them with the skills of dialogue and presentation, where every member selected a topic for discussion with the members, and after the dialogue and presentation there was an evaluation of the speaker and the topic so as to let him benefit from knowing his weaknesses and consequently tries to strengthen them. Sessions were as follows:
1-    Introduction to communication and wireless communication.
2-    Reflections on Reliance on Allah.
3-    The Alchemist novel for Paulo Coelho.
4-    “The Secret” Book.
5-    Joys of Souls.
6-    Jade Story.

New Members:

It has been decided to add new members to the team after the development and the growing scope of work, in order to take over tasks such as following up the news and activities of association’s teams, in addition to work as translators, designers, video producers etc. .
Currently, the team is working towards the development of the skills of by holding training courses for the sake of institutionalizing the work by dividing the roles in a way that guarantees its continuity and the efficiency of implementation. We mention among those members:
Doaa’ Shakhtoor, Marah El Abdlat, Serene Qatam, Nora El Khateeb, Yasmeen Abo Dyok, in addition to a number of part-time persons.

The wishes of Technology Team:
It is a team whose wishes are renewed whenever they look toward the sky, as their dream is Heaven, but what are their wishes for the team? We have picked a number of them for you:
Ramy Fares: My wish is to be a reason of the Renaissance for our Ummah and the revival of our Islamic glory, and to leave a mark whose goodness and reward extends till the end of time.
Esraa’ Mahameed: I hope we become from those who live the first thing revealed of the Word of Allah “Read”; to read and rise within my Ummah again. I hope that the mark that my team has planted within me be instilled in the life of everyone in this Ummah, and we become a helping hand to whoever needs us.
Mais Tayeh: I hope our association remains generous and leave an imprint of change on life. With respect to our team I hope we continue the way we are in cooperation and effort, and to play an effective role in this change.
Khalid Almughrabi: my dream is of making a Renaissance and leaving a mark in life began with Life Makers and, God willing, I’ll work with the distinguished members in the association to cause the Renaissance.
Ahmed Ghaith: I hope we become like the young men who have believed in Allah who caused them to be more righteous. to be young men whom their main concern is to raise their selves and the Ummah. They posses knowledge and leadership and high resolve that enable them to make the earth prospers, for no other reason than to be a group standing at the door or paradise
